Avitesh Shrivastava wears many hats as an actor, singer, composer, and lately, runway regular. Music was never a choice for him so much as an inheritance: his father was Aadesh Shrivastava, the Bollywood composer and playback singer behind decades of hit soundtracks, and his mother is actress-singer Vijayta Pandit. Avitesh grew up in his father’s recording studio and started training under him at 11 or 12, picking up production and singing the way most kids pick up cricket because it was simply what happened around the house.
He went solo in 2018 with “Main Hua Tera,” directed by Remo D’Souza and produced by Giorgio Tuinfort, with Amitabh Bachchan on hand for the launch in Mumbai. Three years later came his debut EP, IRAADE, six songs deep “Ishq Sufiyana,” “Khwahishein,” “Aaja Mere Naal,” “Bahon Mein,” “Bewafa,” and “Sone Mere Mahi” released through Victory Music/ Venus.
He’s also quietly become one of Tiger Shroff’s go-to songwriters, composing and writing Shroff’s singles “Casanova” (2021) and “Bepanaahh” (2025), the latter featuring Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and directed by Bosco Leslie Martis for DRJ Records. His acting debut came with Sirf Ek Friday, directed by Lloyd Baptista alongside Mahesh Manjrekar.
He closed the show for designer Donear at Bombay Times Fashion Week in October 2025 and fronted a campaign for Neo Stretch fabric, his first real foray into fashion. He’s also been teasing “33 Diopters,” a psychological thriller billed for a worldwide theatrical release.
