Manraj Singh is a film and theatre actor and an alumnus of Drama School Mumbai. Born in Berhampur, Odisha, he discovered his love for the arts while working in retail and hospitality and performing theatre in Bangalore, before landing one of 18 spots in Drama School Mumbai’s first batch, the break that pushed him to quit his job and move to Mumbai to chase acting full time.
He first drew serious attention playing Jugal, the lead in ALTBalaji’s Romil & Jugal, Ekta Kapoor’s queer reimagining of Romeo and Juliet, praised for its sensitive handling of a young man’s coming out. He went on to share the screen with Ronit Roy, Suchitra Pillai, and Mona Singh in Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain S1 and S2, and built a decade-long television career with roles in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Qayamat Ki Raat, Kaleerein, and Abhay S1, followed by a standout supporting turn as Shubham Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, which won him his first acting award.
In early 2025, he joined Sun Neo’s Saajha Sindoor as Rudra. He currently stars in Zee TV’s Tumm Se Tumm Tak as Harshvardhan. The show has consistently held the number one spot on the channel.
